Adventure Description

Located in the Boreal region 3 hours northwest of Edmonton, this husband-wife outfitting team has been hunting this area since 1980. Hunting properties are located in an area known as "Moose Row" with a very strong Moose population. Hunting occurs on hundreds of square miles of Crown land. Oufitter is on the board of directors of the Alberta Professional Outfitters Association. Very hands on Outfitters who always have a plan A and plan B for the hunt. Outfitter takes on 4 hunters per week. Specializing in Moose, Elk, Black Bear and Whitetail, they have super affordable combination hunts where you can have multiple targets. Hunting properties range from close to camp to a couple of hours away depending on species hunted and time of year. Wolf and Coyote tag included in every hunt. For Moose, target 40" plus with 40-45" being the norm but they have over a 90% success rate. October for archery moose, November for rifle. Elk are found in smaller herds than in the lower 48 and typically target them along the river bottom. Located in a 3 point on 1 side area, this is an excellent location for trying to archery hunt Elk and outfitter reports a greater success rate in Archery season. 260-270 is average but have taken Elk in the 350-380 range. Approximately 50% success rate on Elk. Whitetail here are not in as dense a population as other locations but they are big. Outfitter targets 150" plus. Mule Deer here are in certain pockets throughout the hunting properties and pair excellent with hunts for the other species. Typical size is 155-160"+ with some bigger. Very solid Black bear population with 100% success. Spring and fall hunts available. These are big blocky headed bears 85% jet black bears. Spot and stalk bear hunts in October are very popular.
