Adventure Description
This is a classic horseback pack-in hunt, on the southern border of Colorado (Units 80-81), just over the border from the outfitter’s ranch in New Mexico. It’s a 2.5 hour horseback ride into a comfortable tent camp. Hunts are seven days, one day in, one out, five full hunting days. Archery tags are over the counter, as are second and third rifle season. One preference point required for first rifle hunt, seven for the muzzleloader season. Excellent outfitters, first class operation. Alamosa, Colorado is the pickup point. Excellent elk hunt at a great price. Hunters should be in good physical condition.
