Few hunts are as memorable as a moose hunt with Shoshone!
The size and stature of a moose make the hunt a memorable experience. These animals are fun to watch, and access to them requires different modes of transportation from helicopter to boat to horseback depending on the location. Keep in mind, that moose are bigger and faster than any human could ever be. Some of the moose hunt options are quite rugged and require physical stamina, whereas others are very comfortable lodge accommodations and hunting via boat making the hunt much easier. In addition to rifle hunting, bow hunting is also an option for hunting moose. Moose hunting is easily combined with other game for combination hunts such as Mountain Goat, Brown or Black Bear, Caribou, and Wolf. Moose hunts usually take place in late summer or early fall with the rut taking place in September in most locations. Hunting the moose rut involves calling while hunting outside of the rut is spot and stalk. The surroundings of a moose hunt are breathtaking with beautiful lakes and true wilderness adventures. Let Shoshone Adventures plan a first-class moose hunt that exceeds your expectations.
