A hike deserves a mountain goat trophy at the end.
The areas inhabited by Mountain Goats will test the hunters’ mental and physical stamina to harvest this trophy. The hunting is a similar experience to sheep hunting without the cost. It also pairs well with hunting other game, like caribou and moose. The mountain west, Canadian Rockies, and Alaska are the settings for some of our favorite mountain goat hunting. The outfitters that we can pair you with guide you to big billies. To achieve an excellent mountain goat hunt may require hiking or horseback riding, but when you’re looking at the scenic views of these mountain ranges it’s hard to be too upset. Seasons run from August through October depending on location. Rifle hunting is most common but it is possible to harvest a big billie with a bow. Regardless of where you choose, you can expect a great hunt in some of the most beautiful landscapes when you’re hunting mountain goats.
