Adventure Description
This is a great Alberta hunt for moose, it is taking place in the end of November, during the post-rut rifle season. Bulls here typically run 35 to 45 inches, with 10-20% of hunters harvesting bulls over 50 in the last few years. These hunts take place near Pigeon Lake, southwest of Edmonton, Alberta. Hunting country is rolling hills, and a mix of farmland and bush. Easy hunt physically. Very few wolves and black bears in this country, so the moose numbers are high, and continue to grow every year. Hunters stay in cozy cabins, with a nice lodge for meals and hanging out after a long day’s hunt. Excellent long time Alberta Outfitter.
