This is much more than a hunting trip. It’s a cultural adventure and opportunity to experience all that central Spain has to offer during a great time of the year for travel to Spain. You’ll have the opportunity to hunt the 4 subspecies of Ibex in Spain, (Gredos, Beceite, Ronda, and South-eastern), although Gredos ibex (Capra pyrenaica victoriae) is the main one, and the one the outfitter is concentrated on. Outfitter has taken the World Record and has 7 of the top ten ibex ranking in the world. Outfitter is located in Salamanca province, which belongs to Castilla-Leon State, the biggest state in all Europe. Salamanca is a lovely region with gorgeous nature and wildlife. Outfitter has contracts for 21 years, with exclusive hunting rights in over 20,000 acres of the prime hunting land in Salamanca province. The area is located 2 hours drive from Madrid. They also hunt in Public Utility Mounts (common land), and National Preserves with permits provided by the Spanish Game Department. Mostly “Batuecas” and “Gredos” Natl. Parks. They hunt as well in some of the best private hunting areas in the country. Outfitter's family also owns a private property of around 2,000 acres, where the lodge is located, and where there are some of the biggest trophies of red and fallow deer in the country.
