Located just outside of Ennis Montana, this is one of the best wilderness elk hunts in the lower 48. The outfitter has exclusive guiding rights to a huge section of the Lee Metcalf. Hunting occurs in the wilderness with some hunting on private land as well. The outfitter had a 76% success rate last year and has a high success rate year after year. A large resident elk herd and the potential for harvesting a real hammer make this one of our favorite hunts. Lodging in comfortable cabins on Outfitter’s ranch. Arise early for breakfast and then hit the trail head on horseback to chase Elk in the mountains. Return to camp midafternoon for an early dinner and finish the day glassing the Alfalfa fields. Can’t recommend this hunt enough. Most hunters are returning clients. Our owners have been here multiple times and its one of their favorites!
