This is an excellent hunt, in northern New Mexico. One of our best outfitters in Northern New Mexico. The outfitter has exclusive hunting rights with 24 ranches stretching 35 miles east to west and 25 miles north to south. Folks that’s a lot of prime elk country! There are lots of elk on these ranches, mostly 270 to 280 class six pointers, with an occasional 300+ bull. The ranches are also located on key elk migration routes. These are high success rate hunts with rifle hunters averaging 77% success over the past 15 seasons. Lodge accommodations with most hunts. There are wall tent camps on the outfitters more remote or high elevation hunts. Transportation is 4WD and hiking. Lodging and meals are included with all but a few cow elk hunts. The landowner permit guaranteeing your elk tag is also included. Add black bear, in season, for a $500 trophy fee.
