Adventure Description
This has long been one of the premier elk hunts in all of southern British Columbia. With nearly 400 square miles of exclusive guiding area, in the Purcell Wilderness Conservancy, you will experience one of Canada’s most beautiful and game rich areas. Hunts are conducted on horseback from the outfitter’s main lodge out to spike camps consisting of cabins with separate cooking facilities. Airport pick up and drop off is available from Cranbrook, BC and this is a 6-point minimum antler restriction area. Elk hunts can be combined with Mt. Goat hunts which yield a high success rate. Mt. Goats are in the 9” range and on an average year, two B&C goats are harvested. This is a third-generation outfitter, so rest assured you are in capable hands as you travel in the game rich Canadian back-country.
